Don’t just take our word for it - see what actual patients have to say about their experience with Luna.
As an athlete - running, weights, yoga - I’ve had a lot of physical therapy. Luna is a huge step forward!
Fantastic experience. I look forward to our sessions.

I absolutely love the convenience. I will definitely recommend Luna to friends and family!
My therapist has been extremely timely and professional...if you’re seeking physical therapy, these folks are great.
Punctual, thorough, and professional. Great appointment.
All of the treatment time is devoted to me as a patient without distraction, bravo!
I have been through PT twice and working with Luna has been much better than dealing with an actual clinic.

You can begin your treatment without a prescription, regardless of your payment method.
Our physical therapists are available for appointments anywhere in Costa Mesa. We come to you to make the physical therapy experience as convenient as possible. We know how special Costa Mesa is with its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and delicious dining options. Residents here work hard every day, and we created Luna to help them relieve the stress of securing prescriptions, checking for insurance coverage, finding a close enough clinic, dealing with waiting lists, and making frequent trips through traffic to get the care they need.
Luna accepts many insurance plans, and we handle the benefits verification process for you. With Luna, you’ll typically pay the co-pay your insurance plan requires for clinic visits. We accept all PPOs, many HMOs, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage.
In most cases, you will not need a referral for physical therapy. Some insurance providers do require a doctor’s referral, and we’ll promptly let you know if that’s the case with your insurance. Read more about prescriptions.
Appointments for private physical therapy at home are available 7 days a week, from 6:30 am - 9:30 pm. We make it hassle-free to complete your full course of care by having your Luna therapist come to you. In general, our therapists treat patients at home. See our clinic comparison chart.
We strive to have a single physical therapist work with each patient for their entire course of care. In very rare cases, your scheduling priorities may require adjustments, but you’ll always know who is seeing you for your appointment in advance.
In California, Direct Access rules allow patients to be seen for physical therapy for up to 12 visits with no prescription. After 12 visits or 45 days (whichever is first), the Luna team will work with your doctor to obtain a prescription if more visits or time is needed.
Medicare requires a signed plan of care for physical therapy. Your Luna therapist will create a plan of care during your first visit, and the Luna team will work with your doctor to get it approved. You will need a new plan of care established every 90 days or 10 visits whichever is sooner.
We come to you!
